I discovered that my mind could focus better after my body had moved. Whether it was climbing, running, or lifting weights, physical activity gave me the fuel I needed to sit down and engage with schoolwork.

I Worked in Sprints

I stopped trying to force long periods of focus. Instead, I used short, focused bursts of work followed by breaks. That rhythm worked far better than anything I’d tried before.


The Real Breakthrough: Mindfulness, Yoga, and Meditation

What helped me most wasn’t a pill—it was learning to slow down. I started meditating for just ten minutes a day. Over time, I saw huge improvements in my ability to focus, regulate my emotions, and stay grounded.

Yoga and mindfulness practices became key pillars in my life. They helped me reset when I felt overstimulated and stay connected to myself without judgment. These practices became my real “medication.”


From Struggling in High School to Thriving in Engineering School

In high school, I barely got by. But when I embraced my ADHD instead of resisting it, I unlocked a new level of discipline and performance. I graduated from engineering school with a higher GPA than I ever had in high school.

That proved something powerful: When I worked with my ADHD instead of against it, I succeeded.
