Life Coaching for Young Adults Can Give Your Teen Children Direction, Confidence, and Independence in their Lives!

Parents often have a tough time with teenage children or young adults. People aged between 14 – 30 years spend the better part of their lives making sense of things.

The Reality

One moment they are with parents who take care of everything for themselves, the very next moment they are thrust into the world with their own lives and responsibilities.

The result? They become overwhelmed and confused. Teenagers and young adults struggle to cope with the “New Normal” of life and hesitate to decide what to do next.

As A Parent

It’s hard to watch your children become timid. They’ll procrastinate, put off their daily duties, and executive day-to-day functions might become hard for them. Especially if they have a condition called ADHD.

Fortunately, there’s a way out. Proper guidance through life coaching and developing specific skills will ease them into a routine, improve executive functions in their daily lives, and be more confident. They’ll be able to think, plan, and take action to navigate specific challenges that come with adulthood.

Here's Why

Young Adults Can't Utilize their Potential to Progress in Their Lives

01 Organizational Skills Slip

Young adults will take a major hit as far as their organizational skill is concerned. They will suffer when it’s time to keep commitments.

02 Everyday Life Feels Heavy

Teenagers often feel burdened with day-to-day school & college, job-life, and even executive functions.

03 Peer Pressure & Low Confidence

Teenage girls and boys often succumb to peer pressure and suffer from lack of confidence while deciding the important factors of their lives.

04 Procrastination

Young adults “Know” what to do but they put off their responsibilities for a “Tomorrow” that never comes.

05 Goals Without a Plan

People between 15 to 25 years of age sometimes have clear life goals in mind. But they lack proper plans to get to them.

06 Lingering Dependence

Old habits are hard to die. Children in their late teens still depend on their parents for certain reminders, directions in day-to-day lives, and even public interactions.
The Solution

Hire a Life Coach for Young Adults and Teens

What Parents Try

Very often, parents of teens take it upon themselves to motivate their children and try different things on their own. This pushes their young children further away.

Hiring a life coach is a smarter solution. Young people and teenagers will respond better to someone who’s willing to listen to their problems and talk to them about positive change rather than handing them a ready-made solution.

What Coaching Adds

A life coach will create a positive environment where teenagers and young adults will feel at ease in sharing the challenges they face.

Does coaching replace parenting styles? No, not in a million years! Rather, young children receive guidance from an outsider who works with different sets of rules and offers them different perspectives on life. However, I work with the same goal in mind: instilling self confidence in them.

As time goes by, teenage boys and girls will learn to rely more on their own abilities, not on what the coach says.

The Framework

How Does Life Coaching for Young Adults and Teens Work?

Coaching teens and young adults isn’t the same as motivation. Motivation is something that can come and go within days. Rather, life coaching gives these people skills and builds habits that last. My process guides my clients to long-term success as opposed to temporary inspirations that fizzle out soon.

Our team of expert life coaches won’t tell teenage girls what to do or who to become. They’ll help girls realize and be who they already should be in life.

01

Understand

First, I have a conversation with my client and try to understand his/her view towards life, challenges he/she is facing, what my clients' strengths are, etc.

02

Strategize

Then, my job is to come up with specific strategies that build my clients' lives from the ground up. My tactics prioritize improving Executive Functions, time management skills, organizational capabilities, and teaching people to take accountability for their actions.

03

Act

The last part of my coaching process is to help my clients act. I guide my clients into deciding important aspects of their lives by themselves.

As a Life coach for Young Adults and Teens, what will be Your Responsibility?

I help young adults and teenage boys & girls to carry out their executive functions, be more assertive in communication and decision-making in their daily lives.

My sessions focus more on coming up with strategies for the long-term and building positive habits than chasing short-term motivation.

Yes. With therapy, doctors counsel and treat mental problems. Life coaching focuses on developing habits, routines, and strategies that prepare people for their future.

Yes. Although many of our clients start coaching sessions frustrated and with low self-esteem, soon they feel a difference within their daily lives.

Instead of waiting around for them to develop motivation on their own, I instill confidence, develop practical routines, and structure in their lives. Through regular practice and discipline, they find hope and belief.

Parents are the first teachers of any child. I don’t deny that. But children in their late teens and early adulthood are volatile. Even a normal, day-to-day conversation with their parents can turn into an “Emotionally Charged” one pretty soon.

A life coach for teens and young adults is different. He offers an “Objective” comment on different scenarios of his clients’ lives. This helps children step into “Adult” shoes seamlessly. They grow in self-esteem, form meaningful and long-lasting relationships, and learn to trust their instincts when making significant decisions in life.

All the while, parents continue to be their most reliable support system.
