Andrew Petrillo Life Coaching – https://andrewpetrillolifecoaching.com/

Last updated: July 12, 2026

I’m Andrew Petrillo, and this website belongs to Andrew Petrillo LLC, based at 758 NW Powhatan Terrace, Portland, OR 97210, United States. Coaching is built on trust, and that starts before our first session – with how this website treats your information. This page explains, in plain language, what I collect, why, and what I will and will not do with it.

My promises to you

  • I will never sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
  • I will never share what happens in coaching sessions with anyone outside the limits described in the confidentiality section below.
  • I only collect what I need to respond to you, schedule sessions, and run this website.
  • You can ask me what I hold about you, and ask me to delete it, at any time, with one email.
  • I will tell you if this policy changes by updating the date above and, for meaningful changes, noting it on this page.

What I don’t do

  • No selling or renting of personal data ever.
  • No sharing of teen clients’ information with third parties for marketing.
  • No hidden tracking beyond the standard analytics described below.
  • No spam: if you join the newsletter, every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

What I collect, and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, and message so I can reply to you. Nothing else.
  • Discovery call booking (Calendly): when you schedule a free call, Calendly collects your name, email, and chosen time on my behalf. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to that process: calendly.com/privacy.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address, used only to send blog posts and resources for raising your teen. Unsubscribe anytime.
  • Parent course accounts: if you enroll in a course, I store the profile information you provide so you can log in and access your materials. You can view, edit, or delete this information at any time.
  • Coaching intake: information you share when we begin working together (goals, background, scheduling details). This is collected directly, held confidentially, and used only to provide coaching.
  • Website analytics: this site uses Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand which pages are helpful things like pages visited, general location (city level), device, and how you found the site. This data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by declining cookies.
  • Comments (if enabled): the name, email, and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser type for spam filtering. Comments may be checked by an automated spam-detection service, and an anonymized hash of your email may be checked against the Gravatar service (privacy policy: automattic.com/privacy).

Teens and children – a special note

I coach teenagers, so I hold information about minors to a higher standard. Coaching for anyone under 18 is arranged by and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this website, and I do not market to minors. If you believe a young person has submitted information here without a parent’s involvement, email me and I will delete it promptly.

Coaching confidentiality

What your teen shares in sessions stays between us. For clients under 18, I keep parents informed about progress and themes at a level agreed upon when we start without breaking the trust that makes coaching work. The exceptions, which I will always explain up front: if I believe someone is at risk of serious harm to themselves or others, if a minor’s safety is in danger, or if the law requires disclosure. Coaching is not therapy; where a teen needs clinical support, I make referrals through trusted licensed professionals, and I only share information in that process with your consent.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies: functional cookies that make the site work (for example, keeping you logged in to a course – login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me,” and display-preference cookies last a year), optional convenience cookies if you comment (saving your name and email for next time, lasting one year), and analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

Embedded content and third-party services

Some pages include embedded content – for example, scheduling widgets or videos. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website directly, and those services may set their own cookies and collect their own data under their own privacy policies. The third parties I work with are: Calendly (scheduling), Google (analytics and fonts), and my email newsletter provider. Each processes data only to provide their service to this site.

How long I keep your information

  • Contact form messages: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
  • Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe.
  • Course accounts: while your account is active; deleted on request.
  • Coaching records: for the duration of our work together and a reasonable period afterward for administrative and legal purposes, then securely deleted.
  • Comments and their metadata: retained so follow-up comments can be approved automatically; deletable on request.

Your rights

Wherever you live, I extend the same rights to everyone: you can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to erase it (except data I’m required to keep for legal, security, or administrative reasons – such as records of a password reset, which include the requesting IP address). If you’re in the UK or EU, these rights are backed by GDPR; if you’re in California, by the CCPA – including the right to know that I do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email me and I’ll respond within 30 days.

Where your data lives and how it’s protected

This website is hosted in the United States and protected with SSL encryption – everything you submit travels encrypted. If you’re visiting from outside the US (I work with families in the UK and worldwide), your information is transferred to and processed in the US under the protections described in this policy. Access to client information is limited to me and, where relevant, the coach on my team working with your family.

If you upload images

If you ever upload images to this site (for example, in comments or a course), avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors could download and extract it.
